The Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety is designed to produce graduates who are skilled in identifying, managing, and mitigating workplace hazards to ensure a safe and compliant working environment. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and legal understanding, this program equips graduates to anticipate risks, lead safety initiatives, and respond effectively to workplace emergencies. The program lasts three years, including two and a half years of classroom instruction and six months of internship, and prepares students for roles in various industries, including construction, manufacturing, and environmental management. Career opportunities include safety officer, health and safety advisor, compliance officer, and risk assessor. Admission requires a minimum of 4 passes in LGCSE/COSC/Equivalent.
